We realized we had no Barbecue sauce for our homemade chicken strips so I rushed to find a recipes quick and easy, so many of them needed to cook for a while. It was delicious. A little bit sweet and tangy with a bit of a kick, I did add a bit of garlic powder.
In a tiny cooking pan over medium heat, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, mustard powder, and salt. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before brushing on your favorite meat.

- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon water
